Hubert (on the right) has come to live here with me, and the rug hooked EYE heart wanted to be on the chair too.

I think I should make Mary a super hero cape. She really is a wonder woman.

Painted canvas from Alisa's class (above), and a rock with a VIM (very important message) from Alisa herself. It's a good message for a neat and tidy runner gurl, don't you think???

Betsey and I fell in love with this little pincushion-flower, needle-holder-mushroom, thimble-bucket bit of cuteness immediately. When I wasn't peeking, Bets got it and gifted it to me. Thank you, dear Betsey. I think of you and smile every single time I look at this little guy.

Art Fiber Fest really was incredible this year. Sassy Art Goddess described it as "finding her tribe". That is exactly how it feels.

 I am already missing the late nights of stitching and laughing, and looking forward to when we can all gather again.

Thoughts on Being Mary's Neighbor....

Ok. I'm not REALLY Mary's neighbor.... but it is SUCH a happy sight to see my little green hooked house RiGhT nExT dOoR to her pink hooked house.

I took Mary's "Home Hooking" class at ArtFiberFest last week, and just now finished putting on the backing. See Scott and I smooching in the doorway? *grin* I still need to figure out the door. I can't remember how to attach it. I really WAS paying attention... HONEST! The whole door thing just seemed so far away from where I was at when Mary was explaining it.
