Running in Sunshine...

I just ran an EARLY morning run in sunshine. ACTUAL sunshine.

*happy sigh*
I think spring is on it's way.

Valentine's Day Bracelet....

Two New Bracelets...

More Skulls... More Fringe....

Sooooo not my comfort colors.... but sometimes a gurl needs to at least pReTeNd to break out of her comfort zone, don't cha' think?

I bought the large red beads at a FaBuLoUs bead store in Port Townsend during Art Fiber Fest. The skull beads have been lurking in my bead box for awhile now.

It's good that I've kept my hands busy making this bracelet here this morning... because the trick or treat candy is taunting me from a bowl on the counter!

Fringe Bracelet....

After taking Jan Harris' class "Homes in the Garden" at Art and Soul earlier this month, I have been itching to make more fringe bracelets. This one has vintage, glass, seed and alphabet beads.... and it's not TOO fringe-y. I love fringe, but bracelets that are especially drippy make chores and grandma duties challenging.

Art Fiber Fest Charm Swap...

OMGoodness... I have had the hardest time making peace with this project. I've done the charms three times now. Completely different each time. I've actually thrown two complete batches of charms away because I could not look at them ONE MORE SECOND.

I finally decided to make the charms I use on my bracelets for this swap. I like stitching them and they always make me happy when they're finished. Sometimes it doesn't pay to get all CrEaTiVe with a capital "C". Sometimes the right thing to do is the comfy thing that you know you like.
